LRE’s team members have a combined 24 years of experience across contaminated land management, environmental investigations and hazardous materials assessments. We provide practical technical and commercial advice to property investors, developers and asset managers throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Our team has supported a wide range of commercial and industrial property transactions, working with government agencies, private companies, utility providers and real estate investment trusts (REITs). We understand the commercial pressures associated with acquisitions, divestments, redevelopment and operational asset management, and provide clear, risk-based advice tailored to project and transaction requirements.

Since 2024, LRE have completed more than 60 environmental and hazardous materials due diligence investigations for property advisory and real estate clients including CBRE, Cushman & Wakefield, Mansfield Property Advisory, Barings Real Estate and MBMpl. Asset types have included business parks, retail, office, hotel and industrial properties.

LRE regularly provides follow-on advisory services where further investigation or management is required, including targeted contamination investigations, asbestos registers and management plans, remediation advisory services and waste classification assessments.

LRE is also appointed to Sydney Airport’s panel for contamination consulting services. This appointment reflects demonstrated technical capability, robust governance systems and experience delivering contamination and hazardous materials services within highly regulated operational environments.
